Here is a used Cathode Ray Tube for your NeXT MegaPixel Display. It can be used as a mono replacement tube and it is still in the original case shell. This is from a vintage N4000A monitor that was specifically designed for Steve Jobs's NeXT Workstation Slab or Cube, and is from a non-ADB MegaPixel Display.
If your own monitor is old and now too dim to see or simply broken, this tube has a phosphor coating that
is still good with minor burn in. It was taken out of service for electronics parts recycling but still works
fine and installed properly, it will show bright on screen images. It's not really a hard job to replace your
old monitor tube, you just have to be careful not to break the glass neck nor the deflection yoke wires.
Perfect for a vintage enthusiast looking to restore a NeXT MegaPixel monitor that is too dim or the
tube is dead. If you want to replace your dim or dead tube, this CRT will come in the original case shell
to ensure its protected and should arrive undamaged. It came from an N4000A with a defective
deflection yoke, so you will need to remove and use the deflection yoke from your old tube.
Deflection yokes have fragile small wires, so you should use care when removing and installing your
deflection yoke on this tube and be careful not to over tighten the yoke clamp band around the glass neck.
Any over tighten of the yoke clamp and breaking the glass neck will end your repair project fast.
Make sure the job is done carefully by someone who is experienced and or trained in safety,
as sellers cannot be help responsible for mistakes, damage, or injury in electrical component repairs.
